This time, I decided to show what i think about Batu Ferringhi. I've done some survey and this is what i get.



Tourist/ outsider favorite activities during the day in Batu Ferringhi :

• From 20 people.. 

1. 11 said Shopping
2. 3 said hang out on the beach
3. 5 said eating or try local food
4.  1 said nothing to do...?

Local teen favorite activities during night time :

• From 20 people..

1. 15 said illegal racing @ rempit
2. 3 said lapak at mamak stall @ kedai kopi
3. 2 said study...?

The reason why i choose these topics are because i've been experiencing this first hand. i've seen what the tourist do during the day and what are the teenagers doing during night time. Shopping for cheap, pirated, low quality product are 1 of the famous activities there. During the night around 12, the shop are already close down but the REMPIT just beginning to ignite their engine. This are 1 of the perk when u drive there instead of riding a bus. because when its 12 midnight, there is no bus willing to take you to see the REMPIT in action.

I just remember that i have to do a survey and my assignment also have to be in two different composition. What am i suppose to ask my target audience and what is my other composition.....

When im in Penang, i always stumble upon beggars. They ask for money as if they want to rob u. After a while, its start to become routine and i really dont like it. Sorry but the picture are from the internet. Had to google it because i dont have their picture at that time.

These picture does not have any watermark and its free.... Sooo....

To develop an idea for my assignment, i decided to make a mind map. From there, i can easily focus on a topic that i want to do...

The 1st mind map are basicly about Penang generally. What Penang is all about and what has interest me.

the 2nd mind map shows what in Batu Ferringhi. from here, i start to look at one particular topic. Poverty.

I have the advantage of roaming around the cities because we were driving there... My friend's car really help us to move from 1 place to another. With this convenience, i can move around and see what Penang is all about. 

Assignment 3

    In this post, i would like to talk about Penang Island. There is a lot to talk about when it come to Penang. The food, the culture, the scenery, the place of interest, the beach, the landmark and many more.
In this assignment, Mr Bad ask us to pick a topic about Penang Island and do any kind of artwork base on the topic that i choose.

    To do that, I have conduct a research in Penang (with the MA student) and took a lots of picture and observe anything that i can do to complete my assignment.
